GOTCHA! ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT

After 12 years of merging old and new into a style of their own, “Gotcha!” announced our retirement on the AIC Show in Nashville.

The main reason for retiring has been the old adage of real estate… location, location, location. With Chris in Denver, Garry in Indianapolis and Jim & Alan in Southern California, growing and maintaining the repertoire at a championship level was proving difficult to schedule.

The members of the quartet will be far from hidden in the Society. Chris is now singing with 4th Place Medalists, Redline, Garry sing with current JAD Quartet Champions TKO & Alan recently certified as a singing judge, as well as starting a new quartet, Masterpiece. Jim will be serving his second term on the AIC Board in addition to his “project-oriented” tasks either started by him or assigned to him by the District and Society.

Scott Wilson, bass from 1996-2000, is active with the Ambassadors of Harmony. Nerves and emotions caused Alan to miss an entire segment of his speech in Nashville which included thanking Scott for his time with us. He certainly deserves the recognition, and hopefully our website hits many eyes!

Singing in 37 states, 3 Canadian Provinces, Ireland, Russia, and Australia has certainly been fodder for many wonderful memories.

Thank you for 12 wonderful years!

Garry, Chris, Alan & Jim
